What Poolstead is for

Poolstead helps you organise readings and make selected mass-balance estimates from values and product-label details you enter. It does not read test strips, prescribe target ranges, calculate pH or acid/base doses, give a chemical-treatment protocol, determine whether water is safe, or guarantee a resulting concentration. You remain responsible for following product labels and seeking appropriate local or professional advice where needed.

Your pool records and private iCloud

Poolstead stores pool names, volumes, optional notes, water-test readings, dates, methods, treatment records, calculation snapshots, and optional planned retest dates on your device. When private iCloud is available and configured for Poolstead, Apple CloudKit can synchronise those records with your own devices. Pragmatiq does not operate a server for pool records. You can edit or delete records in the app; a deletion synchronises when Apple processes it. CSV and PDF files are shared only through an action you choose.

Optional usage analytics

In a release configured with TelemetryDeck, Poolstead uses a small allow-listed set of product interaction, purchase, restore, support, export, and private-iCloud status events, plus SDK-provided app, device, language, and runtime-context information. Analytics can be turned off in the app. Poolstead does not send pool names, record identifiers, readings, targets, product names, strengths, densities, purities, amounts, dates, notes, CSV or PDF contents, support-message text, email addresses, or raw error text to TelemetryDeck. Analytics never controls saving, exporting, purchasing, or synchronising a record.

Support and purchases

A support draft stays locally in the app while you edit it. If you choose Mail, another email app, or copy, the selected service or clipboard handles the message you choose to share; a handoff is not proof of delivery. Support messages are separate from pool storage and analytics. If Poolstead offers its lifetime Plus purchase after launch, Apple and the App Store handle payment, purchase, and restore processing.

This website

This static website is hosted on Cloudflare. It has no contact form, browser analytics, account system, or app-data database. Cloudflare may process request data such as IP address, browser information, and request logs to deliver and protect the site under its own terms.
